CPChem is a leading company in the production and selling of Aromatics & Styrenics, Olefins & Polyolefins, Plastics, and Specialty Chemicals.

 Administrative Assistant

Performed senior level administrative support for Communication, Global Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply & Distribution. 

¨                  Led Program Book project as a team leader for a Quality Conference which hosted over 1,000 employees, vendors, and customers with a budget of $35,000.  After surveying previous year’s attendees, created a program book that fit the needs of the attendees while keeping costs $25,000 under budget.

¨                  Facilitated supply room team and served as liaison with office supplier to provide quality office materials at lowest price.  Net result lowered office supplies by $25,000 per year.

¨                  Procured and maintained 12 corporate expense cards with an expenditure limit of $120,000 per month.

¨                  Developed & maintained Home Office Budget, maintained Work-in-Progress reports, and prepared cost/benefit reports.

¨                  Designed and maintained database and spreadsheets for managing business contacts, tracking projects, phone list, cost center reports, and contract relief labor.

¨                  Provided multi-media graphics support combining design, illustration, color, and sound selection skills using a variety of high-end PC applications.

 ¨                  Ensured proper formatting of memos, letters, faxes, and forms by working with Corporate Identity and the IT department.

¨                  Supported the IT department in implementing new procedures (hardware or software); including the rollout of Windows 2000 to over 600 employees.

¨                  Created and maintained seven websites in FrontPage for both the Internet and Intranet.
