PORTER, TEXAS – Cool down this summer while setting a hot new record at “The AANR Largest Skinny-Dip Across North America.” The Guinness World Records™ Organization has just created a new category for the largest number of people simultaneously skinny-dipping, and EMERALD LAKE NUDIST RESORT is participating under the auspices of the American Association for Nude Recreation (www.AANR.com), the contract association for this record event.

Skinny-dipping, a wholesome tradition as old as mankind and frequently honored in art and movies, celebrates the natural joy of plunging into water without hindrance of clothing. In conformance with stated rules, all participants to be counted must be completely nude during the skinny-dip. As with all Guinness World Records™ events, all record attempts will be “witnessed” by a designated “member in standing” of the local community. 59 (Eastex Freeway) north Emerald Lake has a “burger Shack” at the edge of the lake, which is open on weekends. There will be brisket plates with coleslaw and/or potato salad, burgers, hot dogs and more, and sodas, for sale for this event. BYOB if you wish.
SPECIAL REDUCED FEE FOR THIS EVENT ONLY If you wish to help set the Guinness Record only, which will also give you a 3-hour stay at Emerald Lake, cost is $10 PER PERSON if you arrive no earlier than 12:00 noon and leave by 3:00 pm. If you wish to make a full day of it, cost is the usual $30.00 per day ($25.00 if you are a card-carrying AANR member). EVERYONE MUST BE SIGNED IN AND AT THE LAKE’S EDGE BY 1:40 PM AND READY TO SKINNY DIP ON CUE! First-time visitors need only be nude in the skinny dip, if desired, but no clothing at all allowed in the lake.
